PANTANO LITTLE LEAGUE: Spring 2012 Divisions
T-BallThe Tee Ball Division is an extension of the local Little League to accommodate participants league ages 4-5 and will utilize the batting tee. Each team bats its entire roster each inning, regardless of outs. The focus is on learning fundamental skills and developing a love for baseball. For safety reasons, sliding is not allowed.
Pre-Minor
Our Pre-Minor division is an instructional "coach pitch" division for league players ages 6-8.
Minor
Our Minor division is an instructional "player pitch" division for league players ages 9-11. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 46 feet.
Major
Our Major division is a competitive division for league players ages 10-12. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 46 feet.
Junior
Our Junior division is a program for league players ages 13-14, using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches.
