Warm-up Rule Changes

Novice

There will no longer be warm-up before Novice games.  Teams are to go straight to their benches except for the starting five.

Atom

There will only be a one minute warm-up prior to Atom games--A and AA.

Friday, October 30
Novice Rules

--3 ten minute periods, 2 minutes stop time (time will also stop on buzzer)
--there is no double shifting
--the poicy is mixed lines but oppossing coaches can agree to whatever format they wish to play--as long as there is NO double shifting and penalties are served in full.
--penalties are 2 minutes in duration--barring a goal being scored
If a player receives a penalty with less than 2 minutes in the shift, when the buzzer sounds a player from the next line (player b)  will come to the penalty box to serve the balance but the original offending player will still remain in the penalty box.  When the penalty is over or a goal is scored on the PP, player (b) will rejoin the play and the original offending player will return to his/her bench on the next stoppage in play or when the goal has been scored.

Website/Scores/Standings

This website is intended to provide access to the schedules, scores and standings for all divisions that play under the banner of  the LMHA. The schedules and standings are posted for the 5 divisions that are involved in the interlock schedule—Novice, Atom A and AA, and Peewee A and AA.

Please note that in order for the site to be successful and beneficial to all, the scores for each game need to be emailed in.  I do not receive the game sheet that the timekeepers faxed in and therefore can not enter a score for games where teams do not email me the score.   As in previous years, I need each team to appoint a team representative,(coach/manager/parent) that will email the score to me, win or lose, home or away, for every game they play. This will ensure that there are two independent submissions for each game, which in turn will provide verification of the scores.   The time frame 48 hours should be enough time for that rep to take the time to send the score.

The scores, or any questions or concerns, can be sent to me, Peter de Haan, at the following email address:
