Taillights Fade

BOM Raptors 3
Wall Fire 1
The taillights fading in the distance on the road to Premier in the MOSA National 1 division are those of the BOM Howell Raptors. With only one game left to play and with the fall season winding down the Raptors have taken a convincing lead in the race to finish first and earn a Premier birth.
On Thursday night in the crisp fall air under the lights in Wall the Raptors handedly defeated the second place Wall Fire by a score of 3 to 1. The Raptors played team ball and moved at will on offense and defense. The pitch was muddy and soft but the Raptors defense was tight and stingy as they quickly shut down the Fire attack.
For the Raptors the road to premier has one last stop back home in Freehold at Wemrock where the boys are undefeated this season and along the way have outscored their opponents 14 to 4. All the hard work since July comes down to one last game. At stake, first place, an undefeated season and a premier birth for the spring.
Go Raptors, bring it and leave it all on the field.
