Prep Season - Registration Now Open
Prep Season

There are no tryouts or cuts, so every player who registers is guaranteed a spot to play in this season. Our Prep Season is really to help prepare younger players for our 15U Season. It includes weekly clinic-style practices, weekend games and culminates in a fun City Championship Tournament. This is a great opportunity for players to experience the full-sized diamond and allows them to develop. The Prep League is open to all 7th and 8th graders, as well as any high school player not on a high school roster.

All-Star Season (July-Aug)
All Star Season

Our All-Star tryouts will be in late-June and selected players will be placed on rosters. Every July, several 13U, 14U and 15U All-Stars participate in tournaments with the chance to compete for a spot in the Babe Ruth World Series! Last year, both our 13U and 14U All-Stars were 2016 District Champions and NorCal State Runner-Ups. In 2009, our 14U team won the Western Regionals and played in the Babe Ruth World Series, which culminates in early-August.

About Us
Palo Alto Babe Ruth Baseball is a community-based league on a mission to drive quality youth baseball. We offer up to 5 Seasons (listed below), providing you with year-round baseball instruction. Choose to play in one season or choose them all, we’ll fit into your schedule!
PABR is really The Next League for 13-15 year olds looking to play highly competitive baseball after Little League and throughout high school at the #1 facility in NorCal—the legendary Baylands Athletic Center in Palo Alto. Much like Little League, there’s no reason for a player to make a choice between playing either travel baseball or Babe Ruth, as 80% of rosters play on other travel teams with minimal scheduling conflicts. In addition, we also have no boundary limits and are open to all comers.
PABR has been home to many local high school and college all-stars since 1954, including current MLB star Joc Pederson. We hope you decide to register for our next season!

Our Five Seasons - New July 2018

Fall Academy Season (Sep-Nov)
Fall Academy

There are no tryouts or cuts, so every player who registers is guaranteed a spot to play in this season. Committed to teaching the highest level of skill development and baseball mechanics across every aspect the game, our Fall Academy Season is run by paid coaches. This season is for 13-16 year olds seeking to reach their maximum baseball potential for high school and beyond. We provide 2 clinic-style practices every week based on age, plus weekend games and tournaments. Register now.

Winter Tournament Season (Nov-Feb)
Winter Tournament Season

Our Tournament Team tryouts will be in late-October and selected players will be placed on rosters. During the winter, we will assemble 13U and 14U teams to play in local tournaments at Twin Creeks. This is a perfect opportunity for 7th and 8th graders looking to play highly competitive weekend tournaments and get skills training. We often have players who are on other travel teams looking to supplement with additional tournament play. Survey to tryout will open in September.

15U Season (May-June)
15U Season

Our 15U tryouts will be held on April 21 and April 29. Selected players will get drafted onto one of 8 teams for the duration of their Babe Ruth careers. If your child doesn’t get drafted onto a 15U Team, you’ll receive a 100% refund, which means there’s really zero downside to registering. Our 15U Season is fairly compact, allowing players to enjoy Babe Ruth with minimal travel ball conflicts and fully participate after their high school seasons have finished. At the end of our 15U Season, the top four teams earn the opportunity to compete in our coveted City Championship Tournament.
