By CORINNE POPPEN Valley Press Staff Writer The following is a look at top performances by Little League players around the Valley this week: Palmdale Little League Farm Blue Jays' player Justin Turner went 3-for-3 with two singles and a triple. Turner also caught two fly balls in center field. "He had a great offensive and defensive game," said Cheryl Crandall, Palmdale Little League President. Lynzee Cascarella with the major softball Xtreme Heat successfully ran first base safely and drove in a run. |
