In 1995, ASAP (A Safety Awareness Program) was introduced to Little League with the goal of re-emphasizing the position of Safety Officer "to create awareness, through education and information, of the opportunities to provide a safer environment for kids and all participants of Little League Baseball".

Remember
Prevention is the key to keeping accidents to a minimum.

Parents, don’t let your children play on a field that is not safe or with unsafe equipment.
Be sure your players are fully equipped at all times,
especially catchers and batters.

Please report anything you feel is unsafe
to the officials (umpires, coaches or managers) on the field.

Background Checks:
PCLL requires that all Board Members, Managers and Coaches,
as well as any person helping on the field, pass a background check.
There will be at least one person at the field that has met this requirement.

Accidents:
In the event of an accident,
PCLL requires an accident report form
to be completed and submitted to the Safety Officer.
Please be patient, the questions asked help us learn
from the accident and prevent future occurrences.

Medical Attention:
If your child requires medical attention,
a doctor’s release will be required before they can
return to active participation in league activities.
