Palm Bay East Little League: Welcome

Fall Ball is almost over and your kids still need volunteer Umpires for Minors, Majors and Juniors. If you can Umpire just a few games before the end of the season, we would greatly appreciate it. All volunteer Umpires contact pbell_info@yahoo.com

As a non-profit organization Palm Bay East Little League relies on volunteer Umpires for all of our games. We have a core of dedicated Umpires who have graciously given of their time but we are still woefully understaffed. Our Chief Umpire is seeking Volunteer umpires of all ranges of experience, or even no experience at all. We would like to be able to put a minimum of two umpires on the field for every game. We cannot do that without more volunteers. You can progress at your own comfort level starting off slow as you receive on-the-job training. All equipment is provided by the league. All we ask of you is your time.
Fill out the Umpire Registration form and forward to pbell_info@yahoo.com. (Do not forward to address on form at this time)

Your willingness to exchange time and effort for your child's benefit and enjoyment is very important to the functioning of your local Little League. Cheering your daughter or son on from the stands is one important way to be involved, but we invite you to do even more by volunteering to help run your local Little League program.
Without a doubt, Little League is a family affair that gives parents and children a common ground for spending time together. Whether you are coaching the players, selling hot dogs to the fans, or bringing snacks for the team after the game, your family will enjoy being a part of Little League in your community. Most of all, your child will appreciate the benefits of your enthusiasm and involvement in his or her activities.
When winning is kept in perspective, there is room for fun in the pursuit of victory or more accurately, the pursuit of victory is fun. With your leadership Little League can help your child learn to accept responsibilities, accept others and most of all, accept her - or himself.

I Trust In God,
I Love My Country,
And Will respect Its Laws.
I Will Play Fair And Strive To Win,
But Win Or Lose,
I Will Always Do My Best.
Parent/Volunteer Pledge

I will teach all children to play fair and do their best.
I will positively support all managers, coaches, and players.
I will respect the decisions of the umpires.
I will praise a good effort despite the outcome of the game.
