Palma Ceia Little League: PCLL News: Junior World Series News

Congratulations to our Juniors Softball All-Star champions!  Our girls defeated Tennessee last night 2-1 to advance to the Little League World Series in Kirkland, Washington.  Our girls have now won the District, Sectionals, the State of Florida, and the Southeast Region.  Play begins this Sunday, August 16, 2009 at 2:30pm against Canada.
 
The teams and families need your help.  This is an expensive trip and the team could use some financial assistance.  Please remember that any donation, however small, will help and is tax deductible.  If you are so inclined, please send a check made payable to Palma Ceia Little League, 4501 S Himes Ave, Tampa, FL 33611.
 
Please join us this Friday, August 14, 2009 between 6:00pm and 8:00pm at Beef O’Brady’s on MacDill Avenue in a celebration for our Juniors team.  Donations will also be accepted at this time.
