PCLL Awards Recognition
Every year Little League International recognizes players and volunteers who make extraordinary contributions to their leagues, teams, and communities. This year, Palma Ceia Little League will be participating by nominating our awards winners in Little League’s categories.
Please review the following awards’ categories and submit nominations according to the guidelines. We will make our picks and present our awards at an end-of-season party at the park on May 9th at 6:00 PM. Please note that nominations for awards must come from certain league participants. For example, the Mom of the Year must be nominated by a player, not a coach (but it’s pretty timely being the day before Mother’s Day). Please use the nomination forms listed and send your nominations by email to ruthl@pcll.org or by fax to 813-434-2296.
Good Sport Award – awarded to player/nominations accepted from team managers.

Mom of the Year Award – awarded to mother of player/nominations accepted from players.

Parents of the Year Award – awarded to parents of Major League player/nominations accepted from Major League players only.

Nomination form: no form available – please submit via email or fax including parent’s names, player name, and an explanation of how your parents have supported you during your Little League years.
Volunteer of the Year Award – awarded to any board-appointed volunteer (managers, coaches, team coordinators or volunteer umpires)/nominations from parents.

Distinguished Little League Graduate Award – awarded to any former PCLL player/nominations for parents, managers, or coaches.

Nomination form: no form available - please submit via email or fax including former player’s name, current contact information, years played at PCLL and an explanation why the nominee is deserving of the award.
