Palma Ceia Little League: PCLL News: Notes for Managers, Coaches, and Team Coordinators Post-Spring Break

I hope you’re having a nice break.  I just have a few notes for you to get things cranked up again:

1.     Safety and PCA – There will be 2 more First Aid/CPR courses  offered at the PCLL clubhouse on Sunday - April 26, 2009 - 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM and Wednesday - April 29, 2009 - 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM.  Your safety credentials must be current and you need to have attended a PCA course to participate as a manager or coach in post-season play.  If you want to attend one of these sessions, please RSVP to Donna Wishart at donnaw@pcll.org.

2.     Mowing – The grass did not stop growing over break; in fact it looks pretty dang good.  Bernard has circulated the mowing schedule.  Please help out the park by making sure your mowing shift is covered.  Also, make sure your post-game duties include hosing down any dry spots in our infields.

3.     Water Coolers – I’m recommending that you wash out the water coolers with soap and water before the first use after break.  They usually get pretty nasty sitting around for 12 days with no use.  Also, just a reminder to please supply teams from visiting parks with a water cooler during interleague play.

4.     Scoreboards – The new boards are up.  Please safeguard the controllers by making sure they’re locked up after each use.  This is the home team’s responsibility.  Thanks for your attention to this.
