Palma Ceia Little League: PCLL News: Junior League World Series of Softball Updates

Kirkland, Washington.  The South Tampa All Stars beat the host Kirkland National Little League 16 - 6 in six innings today and hold a 2 - 0 record in pool play of the Junior Softball World Series.  The girls rallied from 2 down in the first to tie it 2 - 2 in the second.  They went ahead 5 - 2 after 3 and never looked back.  Ashley Cozart hit a homerun in the 4th and the team had a hit-fest in the 6th and scored 10 runs to take the commanding lead.  The team faces ASOFM Little League from Maunabo, Puerto Rico tomorrow and West Ouachita Little League from Calhoun, Louisiana to finish pool play on Thursday.  The South Tampa All Stars are a combined team of Palma Ceia, Tampa Bay, and Interbay Little Leagues.
