Friday, November 5
As many of you are aware, Hillsborough County Public Schools are not in session the entire week of Thanksgiving (Monday, November 22 – Friday, November 26). With that in mind, Palma Ceia Little League (PCLL) will be hosting a Thanksgiving Baseball Camp, please see details below:
PCLL’s Thanksgiving Baseball Camp
Schedule:· Monday, November 22 (9a – 3p)· Tuesday, November 23 (9a – 3p)· Wednesday, November 24 (9a – 1p)
Location:
Palma Ceia Little League, 4501 S Himes Ave, Tampa, FL 33611
Instruction:
Former Major League Baseball player and PCLL’s Director of Baseball Instruction Brian Tollberg (click here) will lead the camp. There will be a 10:1 camper to counselor ratio, and we expect our camp counselors will be professional baseball players and scouts. Your son or daughter will receive quality instruction in hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching and running the bases. More importantly, they will have a great time playing baseball at their home park!
Ages:
This camp is open to all Boys and Girls between the ages of 5 and 16. Children will be grouped by both age and skill to ensure an appropriate level of instruction is provided.
Equipment:
Campers will need a glove, hat, bat and batting helmet. Catchers should plan on bringing their own catching equipment.
Lunch and Camp T-Shirts:
All children participating in PCLL’s Thanksgiving Camp will receive lunch each day and a PCLL Thanksgiving Camp t-shirt.
Registration Fee:

PCLL has caught the cowbell fever, and the only prescription is more Rays! The Rays are coming to PCLL this Friday from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm for a great family night at Palma Ceia Little League! Raymond (the Rays mascot) and the Rays Street Team will be here to pump up the crowd, play interactive games with the kids and give away all sorts of Rays prizes. So catch cowbell fever and help us cheer the Rays on to victory against the Rangers in the American League Division Series. The Bullpen (PCLLs concession stand) will be open and featuring the finest pizza in South Tampa from MacDaddys Pizzarena Grill and a wide variety of ice cream, popsicles and tasty treats. This is sure to be a fantastic evening you wont want to miss! So make your plans now to swing by the PCLL park this Friday from 5:30 pm 8:00 pm for dinner, dessert and some cowbell fever! Go Rays!
