The boys should continue to aspire for excellence (just like life). Aristotle once said “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”
"Failure does not come from losing, but from not trying. The results of a contest are, to some degree, uncontrollable, and all the preparation in the world may fall short. To mentally and physically "lay it on the line" will always allow a greater chance for victory, and even if defeated, the loss offers no shame, but rather more insight for future attempts."- Larry Brown, Basketball Coach
WOW!!! Two tournament champion wins in less than 24 hours. Three of the four Eclipse Select Spring Classic games end with a clean sheet for us including semifinal victory of 4-0 and championship game clean sheet. And to go to the 7th kicker in PK's to win it! WOW! As I told the boys before our semifinal game- What I like about this team is that every single player on this team can score and has scored a goal in the past year. Including the GK's, reserves, defenders, midfielders, forwards. When a player is struggling a little bit, a teammate has the ability to pick up the difference. This was a great team effort and they deserve the success from the hard work they displayed on the field. All the while playing some very attractive soccer! Very proud of the boys!
Congratulations to the players on the Celtic Century Club, Feet Only! These players juggled the ball with their feet only over 100 times. Congratulations Ryan M., Brock V., Raffi E., Thomas D., Kyle C. (U13's), and Jeremy V. (U13's). Well done boys!
We are a young travel team from Palatine, northwest suburbs of Chicago, that will be working on the technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of the most popular sport in the world!. First and foremost, we look forward to becoming better soccer players, better people, and having some fun with great teammates.
