2007 Season Divisions
The Paintsville Little League will begin its 54th year of offering Little League baseball in the upcoming 2007 season. Our 3 fields are located at the Recreation Center, at the junction of Bridge Street and Euclid Avenue. Any youth that lives in Johnson County, is eligible to play. We have 5 different divisions of play.
T-Ball (ages 5-6)
Rookie League (ages 7-8)
Major League (ages 9-12)
Junior League (ages 13-14)
Girls Softball (ages 9-12)

The Paintsville Little League will begin its 54th year of offering baseball and 3rd year of Softball, to the youth of Johnson County. The annual parade and other ceremonies are being planned. The events are being planned and scheduling will be forthcoming.

Girls Softball in 2007
The Board of Directors are very excited about Girls Softball, in both 9-12 age group being included in our program. This division will benefit our young ladies from the early instruction. Coaches and players from both JCHS and PHS, will help with clinics, coaches training, drills and structure.
· Inaugurated in 1974 into Little League
· Designed for girls 9 -12 and 13-14 years old
· Fast pitch
· Utilizes a 60-foot diamond
· Pitching distance set at 40 feet
· Features a full range of tournament play
Background Checks are MANDATORY
Coaches, Volunteers and Umpires OVER THE AGE OF 18 are approved on a year-to-year basis and background checks are “Mandatory”. We pride ourselves in offering the best organization and facilities to our players.
Board Meetings
Board of Director meeting are held the first Sunday
of each month, starting at 7:00pm. The Board Office
upstairs at the Major League field, is the location.
All Parents, Coaches and anyone interested in being involved with the Paintsville Little league are welcome to attend.
