The 11th Annual Pa Hockey Scholastic Showcase will be held on December 26-31, 2006 at the Center Ice Arena in Delmont. This year's event will feature 16 schools at the Varsity and 8 Schools at the Junior Varsity 'Futures' level.

Bethel Park 10 Gateway 0
Highlights: Matt Quigley and David Spadacene scored a pair and Graham Cohen and Kenny Lehmann added a goal and two assists each for Bethel Park, while Pete Cosentino earned the shutout.

Perkiomen Valley PA 7 South Park 2
Highlights: Sean Nielson scored twice and Mike Christie and T.J. Fiorillo add a
goal and two assists

North Allegheny 10 Latrobe 2
Highlights: Danny Gaertner scored a hat trick, Wes Waldschmidt added two goals and four assists and Matt Lancaster and Brady Waldschmidt chipped in a pair of goals each for North Allegheny as the Tigers broke open a 2-2 first period game.

Quaker Valley 4 Walsh Jesuit OH 0
Highlights: Mikail Lemieux scored twice and George Jackson and Greg Dyer pitched in singles as the Quakers blanked Walsh Jesuit. Zac Zinger stopped 16 shots and Colin South added assists on all four QV goals.

Upper Arlington OH 9 Penn Trafford 1
Highlights: Andy Grindley and Nick Galantowicz notched hat tricks for Upper Arlington and Zach Tulley and Hartwell Marable pitched in three assists each for the Golden Bears.

Franklin Regional 5 Upper St Clair 4 SHOOTOUT
Highlights: Franklin Regional built a 3-0 lead through two periods and Upper St Clair rallied for three goals in the third period. After a scoreless overtime, Logan DeLorenzo and Tim McDonough scored in the shootout and James Orr yielded just one goal to Trevor Yealy as the Panthers of FR bested the Panthers of USC.

Prairie Ridge Ill 5 Peters Township 2
Highlights: Prairie Ridge scored three 2nd period goals to defeat Peters as Scott Bluemlein scored a pair 7 seconds apart and Zach Gadomski score another pair for the Wolves.

Pine Richland 8 West Allegheny 1
Highlights: Evan Goetz scored three goals and added three assists, Dylan Trombetta added two goals and three assists and Phil Trombetta pitched in a goal and two assists for Pine Richland.

Franklin Regional 6 Perkiomen Valley 4
Highlights: Brian Buckley scored the hat trick and Tim McDonough added a pair as
FR seized control of the C Bracket. Perkiomen Valley’s rally fell short in the
3rd period as Mike Dellose scored a pair for the Vikings and Mike Christie
added a goal and two assists.

Bethel Park 8 Walsh Jesuit 0
Highlights : Be:thel Park rolled over Walsh Jesuit as David Spadacene notched
the hat trick and added two assists, Matt Quigley scored a pair and Kenny
Lehmann added a goal and two assists as the Hawks outshot the Warriors 40-10.

Upper Arlington 4 Pine Richland 3 OT
Highlights: Upper Arlington raced to a 3-0 lead after one period on goals by
Rudy Wesolek, Blake Greiner and Andrew Daehn, but Pine Richland rallied to tie
the game as George Saad, Jordan Shelleby and Tyler Deal forced overtime.
Andy Grindley would decide this contest darting through the Rams defense and
scoring with :05 left in OT to give the Golden Bears a heartstopping 4-3
victory in overtime.

Latrobe 4 Prairie Ridge 3
Highlights: Latrobe rebounded from their opening defeat to edge Prairie Ridge 4-
3. Jeff Joe Regula and Andrew Onge scored a goal and assist to lead the
attack. Jon Rowell and Pat Houk had a goal and an assist for the Wolves.

Upper St Clair 5 South Park 0
Highlights: Jono Lohman led USC to a 5-0 victory over South Park with two goals
and two assists as the Panthers only yielded 11 shots on the evening.

Quaker Valley 5 Gateway 1
Highlights: Quaker Valley’s Colin South scored a natural hat trick and Mikail
Lemieux added a goal and four assists as the Quakers turn back a stubborn
Gateway team.

North Allegheny 6 Peters Township 2
Highlights: 3-time defending champions North Allegheny rolled to 6-2 win over
Peters Twp. Wes Waldschmidt contributed three assists as the Tigers balanced
attacked produced six different goal scorers.

Penn Trafford 1 West Allegheny 0
Highlights: Penn Trafford’s Tony Laurito stopped 22 shots and Michael White’s
goal late in the 2nd period would prove to be the difference as the Warriors
clipped West Allegheny.

Gateway 3 Walsh Jesuit OH 2 (OT)
Highlights: Gateway took advantage of a rare 3 on 2 power play in overtime as Joe
Kasper converted a J.J. Mignogna pass to give the Gators the win. Walsh
Jesuit's Zach Gaul stopped 24 of 26 shots.
Franklin Regional 3 South Park 1
Highlights: Tim McDonough scored twice as Franklin scored three goals in five
minutes to erase a 1-0 South Park lead.
Quaker Valley 3 Bethel Park 2 (Shootout 3-2)
Highlights: Zack Zinger stopped 36 of 38 shots in regulation and Mikail Lemieux
converted two Colin South assists to force overtime with Bethel Park. Bryan
Brown and Kenny Lehmann scored for the Blackhawks. In the shootout, Lemieux and
South gave QV a 2-0 advantage, but BP tied it on goals by Lehmann and Graham
Cohen. George Jackson gave the Quakers the victory on the final shot of
the shootout.
Upper St Clair 9 Perkiomen Valley 2
Highlights: Trevor Yealy and Rocky Cersosimo scored twice and Jono Lohman added a
goal and three assist to lead USC to the win.
Pine Richland 8 Penn Trafford 3
Highlights: Evan Goetz and Phil Trombetta scored twice to lead Pine RIchland to
victory over Penn Trafford
Prairie Ridge Ill 5 North Allegheny 1
Highlights: North Allegheny's three year reign on the Director's Cup came to an
end as Prairie Ridge outshoot the Tigers 43-11 and Jon Rowell and Scott
Bluemlein pitched in two assists each.
Upper Arlington OH 8 West Allegheny 2
Highlights: Andy Grindley scored the hat trick and added three assists and
Hartwell Marable added two goals and two assists to lead Upper Arlington.
Latrobe 4 Peters Township 3 (Shootout 3-2)
Highlights: Josh Harris scored as the 7th Shootout participant to lead Latrobe to
a victory over Peters Twp. JeffJoe Regula and Andrew Ong scored for the
Wildcats and Eric Zalewski and David Rigatti scored for Peters after the teams
battled to a 3-3 tie through regulation.
