Honestly do not know why I have not done this in the past.....
I am going to use this to let folks know about any new stuff ( worth noting : ) that goes on around here and on the website. Will try to stay alittle more current on things since I now have this ..... please feel free to 'remind' me of aforementioned statement. So super thanks dear friends for coming around. Hope you are all off to a happy and healthy '06.

Just getting over having a megacold .... in bed sweating but still feeling cold .... ugh. Wife had it before me. Set us back on time about 9 days total. New camera is here so some new shots of Wings and Mermaid progress just around the corner.
01/17/06 Wing paddle info updated, new picture should be up in the next day or so.
01/29/06 Allglass layup info updated, paddles in this layup are now available. Still having problems uploading photos : (
01/31/06 Final bow and stern design complete on Mermaid ..... slowly catching up w/ paddles after being knocked back a bit ..... thank you for your patience everyone.

02/28/06 We are officially on vacation. Still watching our email and will get back to everyone. Spending some time with family and also R&D work for new spring releases. Apologies for being a little hard to get ahold of .... we have to take some time off SOMETIME in order to have a life and further advance our goals of building the best for you. This is the only time of year when it is possible. Please check back for new updates on paddles and boats. Excited to get going....... hope things are warming up in your neck of the woods.
03/15/06 Still currently hiding out ( but watching email as time allows) spending some time with family. Will be back to work around the first week of April with renewed vigor and alacrity. We are currently updating or reevaluating what the boats cost us in time and will post new, modern, restructured, real world #s up in the next week or so. The days of building 25-40 pound bulkheaded, hatched, multi-adjustable seat, custom boats and then giving them away are over. Just not enough hours in the day anymore ...... or month. We have to start being more realistic with these boats as they really take a lot more time to build since we are using Epoxy and up to 50 separately placed plys ( as opposed to 5-6 heavy, isotropic plys from some other manufacturers) in just the right areas of the hull and deck. On top of that we are building almost all of the components on them now. More to come about all this in Tideline FAQ section.
03/24/06 Last few days of vacation for the rest of the year. New boat prices will be up by 03/28. Updated Mermaid photos will be available sometime in the first week of April. Still not sure what is going on with web host / uploading photos.... please email photo requests..... back on it April 01 ..... no fooling.
04/01/06 New boat and accessory prices are up and are now similar to those of the big guys who build boats that weigh 8- 15 pounds more. Some thoughts on this is in there too. Final Mermaid on the water tests today ................ Prices to be determined but will be LESS than the 15 or 19. More in Mermaid section. Back to building paddles this coming week...... slowly will be calling folks back. Sincerest thanks for your patience in letting us have some time off.
07/08/06 Whew, well looking at above date, one can pretty much see where things took off around here. We have been trying to keep up with demand and making efforts to get back to folks as quickly as possible, no worries to 'stay on our case' by writing or calling often .... thank you. Been tinkering around with some different epoxy resin formulations with the possibility of some colorful changes in the boats if test panels work out, please feel free to ask about these. In order to raise a little money to reinvest in the business we will be offering our personal carbon boats for sale. More info to come once I have a chance to write something up. Will update things right here. Please feel free to call or write about these boats. New *Onno Ohana * designs for T-Shirts done, just gotta get up to the screen printers .... new design is real nice and we will be making some sharp paddlings jerseys too. 12/02/06 Just a quick note for now. A new boat, two new (F.A.S.T. tour) performance paddles and at least one new layup coming as well as finally some photos of our new adjustable shaft length system for '07.
Best of all, finally a facelift for website : 0

01/14/07 New interchagable blades coming. One shaft, interchange between any of our touring blade profiles. Options now open with our new locker, 4 piece paddles, three piece paddles or our favorite, a TAP one piece. More on this once new molds get done.

02/18/07 ADJUSTABLE LENGTH SHAFTS ARE HERE !!! Some new info in ONNO info section under " The Shaft ".
03/24/07 Production of Tideline Kayaks by yours truely has ceased. Future designs that might come along will be under the ONNO logo ..... more on this when I get a chance. If you have one, its value just went up. Website updated soon too. Now we can really focus on the paddles and accessories even more.

Not much there yet, but we are working on it as time and baby allow. Please check it once in a while as I WILL be putting new pics and info up. Thank you.
