About Our Pack
We are members of the BSA Dutchess District as part of the Hudson Valley Council in New York State.
Pack 223 is chartered to Croft Corners Arlington Fire Department. We serve boys age 6 thru 11 (1~5 Grade) from Hagan, Nassau and St Martin De Porres schools. We are a proud Cub Scouts group established in 1966 and have been chartered to Croft Corners Arlington Fire Department for many years. Our pack is also sponsored by the Vail-Wolfe VFW Post 173 as of 1995, who provides the storage area for Pack 223.
We offer a high quality BSA cub scouting program stressing diverse activities from indoor and outdoor activities, high adventure and advancement of as many cub scouts as possible toward the rank of Boy Scout. We observe and promote high standards of conduct, appearance and achievement to our cub scouts but also strive to make fun and enjoyment an integral part of our program. We are guided by the principles set forth by the Cub Scout Oath, Scout Motto, Scout Slogan. It is our goal to help boys become responsible young men of good character who make a positive contribution to the community.
