THIS IS OOLTEWAH HIGH SCHOOL
Where in the world is Ooltewah? We are located approximately 10 miles East of Chattanooga, Tennessee-near the bottom border
of Tennessee, where Alabama and Georgia meet.
We sit beside I-75, and if you are driving you get off at the Ooltewah exit.
OUR ADMINISTRATION AND FACULTY
Ed Foster is our Principal--he has been in the field of Education for 30 years-18 of those years as an Administrator.
Our faculty is made up of very dedicated and
professional men and women:
64% have Master's Degrees
36% have Bachelor's Degrees
about 2/3 of the faculty have more than
10 years of teaching experience, and 37%
have more than 20 years experience.
STUDENT ACTIVITIES
There are many activities that our students are engaged in--they include
1. Athletics:
basketball-baseball-football-volleyball- soccer-cross country-golf-tennis-softball-track--cheerleading-band-colorguard.
2. Clubs/Organizations:
Art, Beta, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, French, Future Homemakers of America, Drama, Glee Club, Choir, JROTC, Key, Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, Pep, Spanish, Student Council and Core Group, STARS, and Vocational Industrial Clubs of America.

14 National Merit Finalists in the last 10 years
$1,750.000 to $2,000,000 in scholarships each year
Tennessee rep to Girl's nation-rep to Boy's State and Girl's State
Scholarships given to study abroad in Japan, Germany, and Italy
ROTC Honor Unit four out of last five years
Band competition-3rd in Nation, multiple first places in regional competitions
Our graduates are now attending Colleges and Universities all over the South and the rest of the Nation.
