ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Oak View Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday the 27th at 10:00 am. OVLL is number 6 in line, and we will meet on Old Grade Road behind the Baptist Church any time between 9:00 am-9:45. Please have the kids wear their 2013 OVLL jersey and hat. They can walk the parade, or they can ride a bike or skate board (must have a helmet). The more the merrier, as we can get a trophy if we have the most participants!

OVLL and UCSB SUMMER CAMP
OVLL is partnering up with the University of California at Santa Barbara baseball program to offer a one-week summer camp at the OVLL complex.  This is an extremely exciting opportunity for the youth of the Ojai Valley, as they will get to learn from some of the best coaches in the state, and they will have an opportunity to spend time with several current Gaucho players.

The camp will take place from Monday, June 17, until Friday, June 21, 2013, at our complex, and it will run from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.  If families have a problem with transportation, they can pay an extra $10 per day to drop off at 8:00 am, and/or they can pay an extra $10 per day to pick up as late as 5:00 p.m.

The camp is geared for ages 5-14, and the kids will be broken up into groups of similar ages/skill levels.  Although at least one OVLL Board member will always be in attendance, the camp will be run by the UCSB Coaches and players. 

REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER CAMP

Specifics of the camp-
Dates- 6/17/13- 6/21/13
Times- 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Price- $175 for the whole week, or $40 per day.
Early drop off- Can drop off your child at 8:00 am for an additional $10 per day
Late pick up- Can pick up your child no later than 5:00 p.m. for an additional $10 per day (advance notice required).
Lunch- Not provided 
Drinks- Will be sold during the camp

Challenger Division
Challenger Division is for any boy or girl, ages 5-22 with physical, development and/or intellectual challenges. Games are adapted to your child's needs and played on Saturdays throughout Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. Competitive and non-competitive teams available for ALL levels of play, including those in wheelchairs. Typical Little League players serve as "Buddies" for those who need assistance.
