A great big THANK YOU to all the coaches and volunteers who worked our tryouts the last two weekends.

To the girls who came out and gave their all, thank you! 

OVC Signing night is Monday 11/16.  At this time, we will not know if we have any openings on any of our teams until after this date.  Coaches will be calling alternates ASAP if someone elects not to play for OVC.

In the event you find yourself still without a team after Monday, please email us and we will pass the information on to any of our coaches that have openings.

To clear up some confusion, OVC has NOT cancelled any of the teams that were previously announced.  We are still running 9 teams for this upcoming club season.

We have 4 teams that will participate in NCVA leagues, 3 Power and 1 Area.  Power for NCVA most likely will include some travel for league events.  Area events shouldn't be more than 90 minutes away.  All of these teams will enter some travel events (San Jose, Reno, Anaheim, Spokane, refer to schedule).

Five of our teams will play in AAU leagues.  AAU Power is still LOCAL ONLY, no travel, but hopes are it will offer some teams a little more competition.  None of our AAU teams will be traveling this year, in hopes to help drive club costs down.

Prior to tryouts we will post our CLUB FEES and TOURNAMENT SCHEDULES for you to view.  Our goal is to get you all the information BEFORE tryouts to help parents and players make their decision about which club is right for them.  Please check back as we hope to have the website updated within the next couple of weeks.

This season we once again intend on fielding teams for NCVA and AAU.  Our power teams will all participate in NCVA Power League and our Area Teams are doing a little of both (see list below).

OVC is one of the few parent run volleyball clubs in the Sacramento Area.  All OVC board members are parent volunteers, earning no salary and no discount on club fees.
