Ottawa Asian Hockey: Welcome

Welcome to the Ottawa Asian Hockey Classic Website!!

It was another successful year for the Ottawa Asian Hockey Classic!   13 teams entered into the Tournament this year, including our first Aboriginal team.   There was a lot of friendly competitive play and lots of emotion as players competed for each game.

 At the end of the day, the winners were:

 Women's Open Division:  Ottawa Police Thrashers

Men's Recreational Division:  Gong Hei Phat Boyz

Men's Competitive Division:  Asian Invasian

 Thanks to everyone who participated this year.  And special thanks to those who brought sportsmanship to the game.

Thanks should also go to Valerie Kowal and her staff at Carleton University's Ice House for their support during the weekend, the referees who gave up their time to volunteer for the various events, the various volunteers who helped, especially Sue Law who fed the referees, volunteers and kids this weekend.

As some of you may know, we also took the opportunity to collect donations to support the Japan Earthquake Relief Fund.  Over $700 was raised and will be donated to the Red Cross!!!
