Age: 13
Heather began competing in December of 2000 at Lincoln. A solid all-around gymnast, Heather has a great attitude, works hard, and shows great potential. She is especially proficient on Bars and is improving rapidly.
2003-2004 HIGHLIGHTS: Heather spent a second season at Level 6 and saw an improvement in her performances. She placed 2nd on Bars, 3rd on Beam and 4th All-Around at Lion Invitational; 3rd on Vault and All-Around, 1st on Bars and 2nd on Beam at New Generation; 5th on Beam at Crystal Ice; 1st on Bars and Beam, 2nd All-Around at Rita Beaulieu; 5th on Vault, 1st on Bars, 2nd on Beam, 4th on Floor and 3rd All-Around at Sensational Invitational; 4th on Bars, 5th on Beam and 8th All-Around at Las Vegas Invitational; and 8th on Bars at States. Her meet high was 33.30 and her event high was a 8.90 on Beam and Bars. She ranked fourth in the gym on Bars (8.53) and seventh on Beam (8.49).
2002-2003 HIGHLIGHTS: Heather competed as a Level 6 (12-14) gymnast, and took 4th on Vault, Floor and All-Around, 3rd on Bars and Beam at Rita Beaulieu; 2nd on Bars at New Generation; 2nd on Vault, 3rd on Bars and Floor and 1st on Beam at South County; and 4th on Vault, Floor, All-Around, 3rd on Bars and 1st on Beam at East Bay. Her meet high was a 31.65 and her event high was a 8.65 on Bars.
2001-2002 HIGHLIGHTS: Heather moved up to Level 5 and had a very successful competitive season that hinted at her potential. She placed fourth on Vault, fifth on Beam, third on Floor and second on Bars and All-Around at Rita Beaulieu; fourth on Bars and fifth All-Around at Northern RI; and second on Bars at States, where she scored a season-high 34.15. Her event high was a 9.30 on Bars, also at States. Heather's 8.64 season average on Bars ranked eleventh in the gym.
2000-2001 HIGHLIGHTS: Heather competed as a Level 4 9-11 year old and placed fourth on Vault at Lincoln, second on Bars at East Bay, second on Bars at Aim High, and tenth on Beam among 10-year olds at States. She qualified for States in her third meet and scored a season-high 33.45 at States. She nailed a 9.25 on Bars and a 9.00 on Beam at States. Her 8.69 season average on Bars was first in the gym.
