Osseo Hockey Summer Training Program 2012
Osseo Hockey invites you to our 2012 summer training program! We will be training again this summer at the Champlin Ice Forum. The Osseo Hockey Summer Training Program consists of both on-ice and off-ice training conducted by Osseo Co-Head Coaches Kevin Willey and Mark Phenow. For the camp schedule and additional information please download the camp flyer under Handouts on the left side of the page. We hope to see you this summer!

Thanks to all of those who came out to this year's Skate With the Orioles event! Fun was had by all and we were able to collect several pounds of non-perishable food items for local food shelves!

2011 Osseo Hockey Fall Clean-Up

Osseo Hockey teamed up with the Community Emergency Assistance Program (CEAP) again this fall helping local senior citizens rake and clean up their yards before the coming winter. Thirty-one rakers helped with 9 yards in the Osseo, Maple Grove, Champlin, Dayton, and Minneapolis communities!

Center Ice
The Orioles will have a new addition to their playing surface this coming season! Thanks to Craig Windle and others, the Hockey Oriole was painted on center ice last week! The team is very excited about this improvement and can not wait to put on the skates!

Osseo Hockey Rake, Rattle, and Rolls

Co-Head Coach Kevin Willey and players Sam Windle, Tom Windle, Kean Paxton, and James Hansen volunteered in an event this spring called “Rake, Rattle, and Roll”. Sponsored by the Handworks organization, this program assists over 150 elderly seniors and disabled adults stay independent in their own homes. The Osseo Hockey Team raked and did yard clean-up within the Minneapolis community. Osseo Hockey looks forward to participating in more events like this in the future.

The "new-look" Dick Vraa Memorial Ice Arena is up and running for this upcoming season! Thanks to the many players, parents, and friends for volunteering to improve our wonderful home at the "Tin Bin". It is amazing how much a little paint can make a difference!

Co-Head Coaches Kevin Willey and Mark Phenow led the group of eighteen players with clean-up in the Osseo and Dayton communities!
Here is the response from the homeowners:
“They were fantastic kids. They even worked in the rain. There were 20 kids and they worked really fast. I had made chili. When I saw how many there were I added more beans and tomatoes. In the past we have supported the hockey program and really believe in the program.”
“They did a nice job. It was a coach from the Osseo hockey team. He must have had 15 boys. They did a nice job. They were done in ½ hours. They had 16 big bags of leaves. They did a very nice job. Please say thank you to them.”

Granite City Classic
The Osseo Junior Varsity went 3 - 0 up at the Granite City Classic in St. Cloud, MN! Nice work gentlemen!
Skate with the Orioles
Thanks to all for making Skate with the Orioles a success! We were able to gather a nice shipment of food and money for the Emergency Foodshelf Network! We also got to meet several future Osseo Orioles Hockey players! Thanks for coming out!
