Ohio 18 & Over Summer Baseball

In an early report the Ohio Woodpeckers who have been one of the elite teams in Ohio over the last several years look to be calling it quits in 2007. The Woodpeckers in 2006 made it to the NABF World Series in Louisville, Kentucky for the first time in team history where they went 2-2 to finish the season at 55-4. The Woodpeckers defeated national powers from Peschell's, Conn Bakery and Beecher, IL Muskies. The Peckers lost close games to the 2004 NABF WS Champion Brunswick, Maryland Orioles and the eventual 2006 NABF World Series Champion Cleveland, Ohio Mosquitoes.
