2009 DA/ADA Seminar Scheduled for November 6 & 7

The 2009 DA/ADA Seminar will address many issues that are vital to the Little League Baseball and Softball Programs.

The Friday evening presentation is essential for new DAs/ADAs and a great refresher for veterans.  We will provide an overview of the DA position, provide suggestions for operating an effective district, and offer opportunities for discussion/interaction with other DAs and ADAs.

On Saturday we will spend time on the state of the Region, ASAP, Forms and Publications, and Tournament.  In addition to the usual and required presentations, we will also facilitate some round table discussions and talk about the upcoming 25th International Congress, which will be held in Lexington, KY from March 12—15, 2010.

Attendance at this clinic is of the utmost importance. District Administrators should make every attempt to be present.  If your schedule does not allow for attendance, please consider sending an ADA.

The Ohio District Administrators met on Sunday for the annual spring meeting. Thanks to Don Rawlins and his Ohio District 11 staff for sharing the hospitality of Portsmouth, Ohio.  For those who braved the torrential rain on Saurday, we settled in for a nice dinner, then back to the hotel for some great conversation.

Also, it was so nice to see former District Administrators Glenn Seagraves and Alan Parnacott in attendance.
