WHAT IS THE FIRST WEEK OF TRAINING LIKE?

·        Each player will have the opportunity to show their level of conditioning by participating in the Cooper 12 minute 2 mile run during the first training session Monday, August 13 on the Stadium track.

·        This run will measure the aerobic fitness of the individual athletes and our team as a whole.  The level of aerobic team fitness will determine how we proceed during the rest of training week.

·        If our team aerobic conditioning is at a high level going into our first week of training, we will be spending more time with the ball at our feet.  If our team aerobic conditioning is at a low level, we will be spending more time building up our aerobic conditioning.

.
