Winter Park Recognizes Dream Team - Outstanding Achievement
The Dream Team was recognized by the Mayor, City Commissioners and Community Center of Winter Park during a April meeting at City Hall for achievement and for winning the 2002 Junior Magic Championship in the TD Waterhouse. The City of Winter Park was our sponsor for this tournament. In recognition, a permanent banner with our victory and team information is proudly displayed in the Winter Park Community Center and each player on the team was presented with a Key to the City by the Mayor.
We enjoyed playing for The City Winter Park in this tournament and we are happy that we could deliver this championship to the City. The staff of the Community Center as well as the City Officials should be commended for the level of appreciation that was displayed to a group of young boys. We truly appreciate your recognition.
