8YR OLD AND 9YR OLD TOURNAMENT TEAMS TAKE TOURNAMENTS!

CONGRADULATIONS 8 AND 9 YR OLD TOURNAMENT TEAMS

The 9 yr old Tournament Team coached by Tom Hebling and Mark Tocchet won both tournaments that they entered. They went 4 and 1 in the Upper Moreland 9 yr old tournament and they followed that with a 3 and 0 record to win the Norristown Tournament.

 

The 8 yr old Tournament Team coached by Justin Besachio went 5 and 0 in the East Norriton Machine Pitch tournament.

2009 Aluminum Bat Regulations

Parents,

A new regulation for aluminum bats has been handed down by Little League International.  Please read below before you purchase any new bats for the upcoming season.  New bats must meet the below specifications.

 

Effective 2009 regular season and tournament play;
1. Aluminum baseball bats used in the 12 year old and younger divisions
of play must be printed with a
BPF (Bat Performance Factor) of 1.15 or less.
2. Baseball bats used in the Junior Division of play can not exceed 2
5/8" diameter.
3. Aluminum baseball bats in the Senior and Big League Divisions of play
must be printed with "BESR".
