2013 All-Stars
2013 District 8 Tournaments Hosted By GVLL & RRLL
The baseball games scheduled at GVLL and RRLL (baseball 9-10, 10-11, LL, 50/70, SRBB & softball LL) based on what has been reported by League Presidents as of 6/12 is under Handout. Any addition or subtraction will cause changes to be made. From T-8 of the rule book:  Each District Administrator must finalize tournament schedules prior to the start of the tournament or June 15 (whichever is earliest).

Affidavit Check

District Staff will come and visit each League for the purpose of signing off the NEW player form that must be signed off by the parents. We will also sign the boundary map for each team along with the COMPLETED affidavit. Manager questions will be answered the at this time.  Electronic affadavit forms are availbale form LL.org

Friday 21st 6pm  Rogue River TBD (Abbys or the High School)?
Saturday 22nd 9am Del Norte and Brookings Harbor in Crescent City   TBD.

2012-2013 District 8 Meetings

All Meetings to be held at noon at Moose Lodge in Gold Hill unless other informatin is posted

December 2, 2012:  Bring Calendar of Events, Updated Constitution (2012 version).  Be prepared to talk about clinic dates, rule changes (see Spring Roundtable article,below), 50/70.

February 10:  Bring approved safety plan.  Review charter information.  Review calendars and request clinics from district.  Review new rules & regulations.  CT-12 due Feb. 15th to State of Oregon.

Charter proceduere (must charter and pay for insurance prior to tryouts/practice) Can mail in Forms or do online.

Go to littleleague.org   *Click on League Officers.  *Go to data center & log-in.  *Click on new charter 

March 17:  Interlock Paperwork will be completed.  Must have Approved Safety Plan prior to getting DA signature.

March 24:  Meeting to Schedule Interlock.  Bring calendar with open home slots.

June 16:  Meeting for tournament draws.

District 8 offers a warm welcome to Del Norte Little League.  They previously palyed in California Dsitrict, but due to logistics have moved to Oregon District.

District 8 to host 2014 State Leadership Conference
District 8 will be hosting the State leadership Conference in 2014.  Fundraising efforts are underway with the goal of raising $12,000.  Thanks to businesses and individuals who have made contributions.  See Donor Tab for list of donors.
