"Challenger Division" for youth with mental and/or physical 'challenges' is 'chartered' and operated at the District Level.  For more information about Challenger Division, click here to contact the District Challenger Representative or visit the "Adaptive Baseball/Challenger" page in the directory.

Leagues chartered for Baseball and Softball  within District 9  are as follows.

In Little League, the leagues 'own' their boundaries and can ONLY register players who live within their boundaries.   Families residing outside of a league's boundaries must be directed to contact the league where they reside.

  *  We're proud to introduce you to Oregon District 9 Leagues:    *

Click on the league name to visit their individual website, find their e-mail address and contact telephone number (in the directory column on the website)  ...

Note: There is a possibility of a new league forming toward the 2010 season that would likely specificially serve Junction City, Harrisburg, Monroe, Triangle Lake/Blachly, Elmira/Veneta/Crow school district boundaries.  Check back here frequently for any updates.

Our "Regular Season" of play comes after registrations, evaluations, and team formation - generally beginning the first part of April and ending by June 15th.

Post-Season "All Star Tournaments" cannot be announced prior to June 15th, but can begin practicing as early as June 15th.  Local District level Tournament play 'generally' begins between June 25th and July 4th.   Winners at the District level advance to State Tournaments.  "All Star Teams "in "Little League" (for ages 11-12 and from Majors only), Junior League (for ages 12-14 and from Juniors only) , Seniors, and Big League - both in Baseball and in Softball - can continue to advance as long as they continue to win - all the way through Regionals to the World Series for their division of play.

Leagues may opt to provide a "TAD" (Training and Development) program after regular season and are chartered and insured so they can have something as focused as batting or pitching clinics to full-blown games from January 1st through December 31st.
