Attn: We are required to run a background & sex offender registry check on anyone that will have 'regular contact' with the players. Anyone age 16 and up that has any possibility of being on the field or in the dugouts with the players (including family members) is required to submit a Volunteer Form and a photocopy of their government-issued photo i.d. ... and we will run the check prior to your being allowed on the field or in the dugout with the kids. Safety for All The Kids is #1 in Little League. To those who have participate in the past, this is a 'new emphasis.' Thank you!   • District-wide Rules, etc. - Due to the high number of interleaguing and inter-league special games events in District 9, we have established district-wide rules which provide consistency for ALL teams, all divisions, all leagues, all levels, all games. This has proven to be most helpful for managers, coaches, players, umpires, and spectators. The rules are revisited each Fall and potential 'changes' are voted on by standing presidents at the time of the vote.
