James Combs, former Manager, Coach & Board member for Riverside Little League passed away on December 12th after a long illness.  James touched the lives of many children and adults not only in Riverside Little League but in the District and beyond.  His smiling face and gentle voice will be sorely missed by all.

Services will be held on Wednesday, December 29th at 11:00 AM at Emmanuel Temple Church located at 5123 N Michigan Ave.

Combs Sr., James Lee 68 06/25/1942 12/12/2010 James was born in De Soto Parish, La He was a maintenance supervisor for the Housing Authority of Portland. James is survived by his wife, Vera; and sons, Kenneth Sr. and James Jr. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, in Caldwell's, Hennessey, Goetsch & McGee Funeral Home. A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, in Emmanuel Temple Church with a committal service in Skyline Memorial Gardens.
