Come see us at the Oswego Farmer's Market !!!!!!!!
Beginning Thursday June 4th, 2009 and EVERY Thursday in June and July from 5pm-9pm we have reserved a spot at the Oswego Farmer's Market. Current Board members and coordinators will be available to answer questions regarding the Cheerleading/Football programs or how to get involved in the organization. We will also have registration packets available and you can register your child on the spot as well!! Come join us for the 2009 season and help us continue to build on a very successful 2008 season!!!!!!

Tiny Mites ?
We are getting a lot of inquiries about Tiny Mites which is 5, 6 & some 7 year olds, weighing 35#-75#, playing contact football. it was new to Central New York Pop Warner last year & was very successful, looks as though it is growing from 4 teams last year to possibly 10 or more this year. If you are interested please contact football coordinator Rick Crisafulli 343-8596. Many of our kids are very interested and want to try it.

Our 3rd registration is set for Sunday May 24th 4pm-6pm pm at lighthouse lanes (Shampine Drive behind Eastside McDonalds)

2009 Football Coaches
We are now seeking Football coaches for the upcoming season which begins August 1, 2009. Anyone interested should contact Football Coordinator Rick Crisafulli only. All coaches that are placed are expected to attend WEEKLY coaches meetings as well as mandatory Football clinics sponsored by CNY Pop Warner. In addition, all applicants MUST fill out Oswego Pop Warner Football coaches application, paperwork regarding criminal background checks and will be interviewed by Pop Warner board prior to placements.

Mouthguards
When purchasing mouthguards for the 2009 season be sure that they are not clear & are able to attach to the face mask. Pop Warner rules state that they cannot be clear & MUST be attachable so that the referees can see them and are assured that the football players are wearing a guard. Thanks!
PROTOCOL
problems, questions or concerns.
If you have a problem with a coach first try to resolve the problem with the Head coach of the team. Sometime problems occur and it is just a communication issue.
If problem cannot be resolved you must First go to the appropriate coordinator (Football or Cheerleading).
Complaints are to be put in writing and NOT Anonymous, you MUST include your name and contact information.
Any Problem a coordinator cannot handle will then be taken to the President by the coordinator.
Any problem the President cannot resolve, He/She will ask for help from the CNYPW Executive board. ONLY THE PRESIDENT OR THEIR DESIGNEE ARE TO CONTACT CNYPW WITH A PROBLEM OR CONCERN REGARDING OPW.
NO PETS ALLOWED AT ANY POP WARNER FOOTBALL FIELD
There are no animals allowed to be brought to any games, PLEASE leave your dogs at home
