Players are responsible for purchasing a girdle, which can be purchased at equipment pickup, and spikes. Boys should accompany their parents to registration so they can be weighed and assigned to a team. A registration form, participant profile form, and parents’ code of conduct form must be signed @ registration. Forms will be available at both registrations. Proof of Orland Park residency is required for all players (current utility bill, property tax bill, etc. in the name of the child’s parent or legal guardian).
Practice begins July 29th, 2013. Practice will be five nights a week from 5:45 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday, until school begins, please arrive @ 5:45pm. We play 8-10 games and playoffs at every level. Our eighth graders may have an opportunity to play in a tournament over Thanksgiving weekend. We have two divisions of experienced and first year players who play towards a championship at most levels.
Please note: Two deposit checks will be due @ equipment pick-up in July. The first is a volunteer deposit in the amount of $100 (per family). If you volunteer your time during the season, your deposit will be returned to you, if not, your check will be cashed. You do have the option to pay the $100 and no volunteer time would be required of your family. The second is an equipment deposit check in the amount of $250 (per child). The equipment must be returned clean and on time, in order for you to receive this deposit back. Both checks must be post-dated for Dec 1st, 2013.
Each family will also be required to sell 10 items of our fundraiser orders or the buyout is $50 per child, $75 for two children, $100 for 3 children and $125 for 4 or more children in program.

Pioneer Football Parents & Players!
To the parents & players of our Pioneer Football Family:
Each player is responsible for their equipment and coming to practice. If a player can not make it to practice they must take the Responsibility to call their coach and tell them why; to much homework; religious class; illness; family affair to attend. If a player does not notify their coach about not attending practice they are telling their coach they don't care if they play or not. We as coaches take pride in what we do. We also teach Responsibility and COMMITMENT! Feel free to see your child's coach, BEFORE OR AFTER PRACTICE, NOT DURING!
GAME DAY STAY AWAY FROM THE TEAM BENCH! THE COACHES ARE IN CHARGE. IF YOUR CHILD IS HURT COACHES WILL ATTEND TO THEM, IF IT IS SERIOUS YOU WILL BE CALLED OUT OF THE STANDS.
If you need any help or information feel free to see the athletic directors.

Football players practice in the rain, if the rain is severe or lightning detector is activated the head coaches will make a decision AT PRACTICE FIELDS to wait or cancel practice. So, if in doubt SHOW UP! If lightning detector is activated parents should wait with the kids for a decision. If parents are not at the fields and there is chance of lightning, return to fields to pick up your child if they have been dismissed. PLEASE do not call anyone who's numbers appear on this website about practice cancelation. They will not be able to give you any information, since only head coaches at the fields will have that information. The Pioneer Hotline won't be used this season ALL information will come from coaches and the Pioneer Website!
