The 1970 London TV Cable Men's Fastball Team were inducted into London's Hall of Fame. The team won the 1970 Canadian Senior Championship as well as the Ontario Senior Championship and the Inter - City Championship. The team boasted the pitching staff of Dick Hames and Pete Landers ( pick - up ) for the Canadian's.
Not surprising that they won all of their games with no losses and scored 34 runs while allowing only one run on a wild pitch or passed ball depending on who you talk to. The team played a total of 111 games in 1970.

Team members included manager Bill Watkin, captain Ralph Paterson, Dick Hames, Pete Landers, Dave Cox, Rick McCaw, Charlie Winger, Jim Brown, Ted Morrison, Dale Gooding, Bob Loveless, Ron Sadler, Tom Timbrell, Jack Sneddon, Hal Wengrinowicz, Herb Peterson, Dave Bell, Vaughan Carpenter, Paul Trnka and scorekeeper Don Plumb.
