PARENT AND PLAYER COMMITMENT TO THE OLYMPIAN STARZ: I am part of a club team to improve my skills as an individual and as TEAM PLAYER. Being part of team means showing up to all events. It is my responsibility to look at the schedule for the ENTIRE SEASON provided for my team and make arrangements to attend all events. In the event I have something PLANNED IN ADVANCE that I am unable to re-arrange, I will notify my coach, director or team parent IMMEDIATELY. Only when I notify the head of the team immediately can the program plan ahead and keep the best interest of both the team and me as an individual. Last second absences, even with notification, will not help improve the strength of the team, which directly affects ME. Being part of a team means knowing all of the team plays, terminology, etc., as well as keeping up my individual lacrosse skills and staying in shape ON MY OWN. By missing lacrosse events, I fully recognize that I am hurting my team and myself, which directly conflicts with my purpose of playing for the Olympian Starz. Contact: olympianlacrosse@sbcglobal.net
History (The Myth): The Olympians Lacrosse Club was formed in the summer of 2007 and the team side of the organization quickly joined the Starz organization in the fall of 2007. Olympian Lacrosse Club still operates camps and clinics as Olympian Lacrosse.
Mission Statement: The Olympian Starz Lacrosse Club is a group of elite club lacrosse teams made up of the top players, from grades 2nd -12th, in the greater Orange County Area. The mission of the Olympian Starz is to provide the optimal environment for player development by learning from highly qualified coaches and competing with and against the top players from the West. Our goal is to develop a player (currently boys only) throughout their Youth, Middle and High School career and additionally provide players with viable opportunities for collegiate lacrosse play. It is of the utmost importance that everyone involved with Olympian Starz, including players, coaches, parents, and administration are aligned not only with the vision of the club, but the positive influence structure, both internally and externally, to get us to our vision.
