Welcome to the Olympian Saints
Youth Football and Cheer Association.
We are very excited about our inaugural 2007 season and look forward to being a part of the American Youth Football League (AYFL) and the newest Association Member of the San Diego Youth Football and Cheer Conference (SDYFCC).
With all the new and continuing growth in eastern Chula Vista it is time to add an additional AYFL association. We have recently received SDYFCC approval and are partnering with Olympian High School for the use of their facilities. Olympian High School will be our home field and our practices will be located on the school facilities. Our boundaries align with the Olympian High School boundaries; however overflow kids from the neighboring associations are welcome as well.
We are currently in need of coaches; players and cheerleaders for the upcoming 2007 season. We will post our sign up dates as soon as we confirm them. Stay tuned to our website for dates, times and location.
Our Mission and Goal:
To insure every child with the desire to participate has the opportunity to play or cheer, without regard to prior experience or athletic ability. We believe that football teaches kids life long lessons; we are committed to instilling Leadership, Honesty, Loyalty, Integrity, Teamwork, Discipline, Sportsmanship, Respect, and Trust in our young kids. We believe that football is the avenue which teaches individual values which gives them the proper base to become active members of our community and society. Our Goal is to teach our youth the challenge of competition, the joy of victory, to endure defeat, the importance of commitment and trust and to understand that individuals need to work together for a common goal. Our program will focus and stress the importance of academic achievement among our athletes, and by doing so; we believe it will prepare them for the challenges of high school. These goals will be carried out through our dedicated volunteers, caring parents, and business associates who wish to partner with our great youth sport program.
