THE U-14 OBGC COACHING AND MANAGEMENT STAFF
The OBGC Cyclones coaching staff has over 60 years combined coaching experience in youth soccer. With player development being our main goal, the Cyclones provide 1 coach to every 6 players to help give the personal attention that each player needs to help them reach their fullest potential. Greg Kenel
Coach Greg Kenel has been involved with youth soccer for over 30 years. He played high school Soccer at Sherwood High School where they finished 2nd in the state. He was named most dedicated to the game his senior year. He continued to play club ball through his 30's. He has his USSF coaching certificate. He has coached many youth teams and is currently training both the U-13 Girls OBGC Cyclones and the U-15 Girls OBGC United. He emphasizes player and team development. Soccer is Greg's passion, and his greatest ambition is to help young players feel that same passion regardless of their level of play!

Rich Landis
Richard Landis is a Nationally Licensed Coach with over 35 years playing experience and over 9 years coaching experience. He began playing soccer at age 9, continuing with a number of club and all-star teams throughout his youth.  He played sweeper and halfback for 4 years in H.S. at Washington-Lee (W-L, Arlington VA ) and was voted captain by his team his senior year. During that time W-L was league champs and/or runner-ups for 3 consecutive years in NOVA High School soccer.  He was selected to the Washington Post All-Met 1980 team for two different positions, a rare distinction given to only a few players.  Other playing/coaching accomplishments:
· Formed premier club team in Charlottesville , VA was a player/coach for 4 years
· VA State Referee (1984-89)
· Coached 2 years boys recreational soccer with Seneca Sports (U6-U8)
· Coached 2 girls years recreational soccer with Seneca Sports (U6-U8)
· Coached 2 girls teams through local, regional and then on to the Nationals Championships in Disney Orlando (Got Milk 3v3 and Kick-it 3v3)
· Coached 2 years girls premier soccer team with Seneca Soccer Association (U10-U11 Seneca Tigers) in Division 2 OBSL.
· Coached 3 years with girls with premier soccer team (Division 1 WAGS) Potomac Soccer Club (u11-u13 Potomac Arsenal).
