- Tuesdays: Southeast Olney Field A on Buehler Rd, Olney, 5:30-8
- Wednesdays: Cashell ES field # 2, 5:30-8
- Thursdays: Rosa Parks MS Upper, 5:30-8

These 2 premier U-16 girls travel soccer teams, based in Olney, Maryland, compete year-round --The White team is playing this Fall season in the U-19 WAGS Bracket, the Blue team is playing this Fall in WAGS League Division S and both teams play in summer and winter tournaments as well as Winter futsal leagues at the Rockville Sportsplex and/or Champions Fieldhouse. The Olney Cyclones White are currently ranked 5th in the state of Maryland and the Blue team is ranked 12th!! (according to gotsoccer.com)

Monday, September 5
Both Cyclones teams competed in the OBGC Capital Cup this Labor Day weekend. The Cyclones White, playing in the Premier division, finished 2nd in their bracket, and lost in their semi-final game. The Cyclones Blue, playing in the Elite division, WON their bracket, beating the Loudon 95G Black (VA) and the Vista LFC Avalanche (VA). The girls won their semi-final game against the TSC Thunder Pride, 2-0 to make it to the finals. The girls lost 1-0 against the PA Classics West Hurricanes (PAE). A great finish for the Cyclones Blue!!
Tuesday, May 31
Over the weekend, both Cyclones teams played in Memorial Day tournaments, enjoyed the sun, and played great soccer!
The OBGC Cyclones White played in the FC Delco Players Cup, in Delaware. The girls won their bracket in the Girls U-15 Elite division, besting the Dix Hills SC Hornets (NY) 3-1; the Crusa/FC Bucks Elite '95 (PA) 1-0; and tying the OSA USP Old Bridge Thunder (NJ) 0-0. Their semi-final game against the Rochester Futbol Club (NY) ended 2-1, with Rochester scoring a goal in the last few moments of the game to take the finalist spot. Still a great finish for the white team! :D
The OBGC Cyclones Blue played in the Columbia Invitational Memorial Day tourney @ Covenant Park. The girls finished 2nd in their bracket in the Girls U-15 Cup division. The girls had a great day on Saturday, beating the Jersey United Spartans 95/96G Blue (NJ) 1-0; and the CSC Barcelona Girls FC (MD) 3-2. On Sunday, they lost to the Centre Force (PA) 3-1. A great weekend of soccer for the blue team! :)
Tuesday, February 22
On Monday, the OBGC Cyclones Blue played in the 11th Annual TD Bank President's Day Cup @ the Discovery Sports Center. They played the Loudon '95 White, the Loudon '95 Black, and the S3A Thunder, beating all, to take home the winning trophy! Congratulations girls!

Thursday, September 9
Congratulations to the OBGC Cyclones Blue U15 girls soccer team for almost winning the Championship Bracket of the 2010 OBGC Capital Cup tournament over the Labor Day weekend, 9/4-9/6/2010. The OBGC Cyclones Blue, under the coaching of Steve and Greg Kenel, beat the CSC BARCELONA GIRLS FC, 5-0 , MSI BLUE STAR, 5-0 and SOUTHWESTERN YOUTH ARSENAL RED 3-0 to qualify them to play in the championship game on Monday. The OBGC Cyclones Blue tied the MSC Rush in regulation play and the game was decided by penalty kicks. Great job by our girls!

Congratulations to the OBGC Cyclones White U15 girls soccer team for winning the Premier Bracket of the 2010 August Cup tournament over the August 28-29, 2010 weekend. The OBGC Cyclones White, under the coaching of Steve and Greg Kenel, beat the Loudon Soccer 95G Red and Concord Soccer Association United Premier (Wilmington, DE) and tied the McLean Youth Soccer Club Fury White to win the Premier Bracket. In the championship game at the Maryland Soccerplex, the Cyclones beat the VSA Heat-Gold from Gainesville, VA 2-0.

The OBGC Cyclones White finished as semifinalists again this year in the 2010 Maryland State Cup. The girls advanced to the semifinals after beating the Freestate Strikers and the Thunder SC Strikers. Congrats on a great finish girls!

Both teams played in tournaments the weekend of March 20 & 21st. The OBGC Cyclones White played in the Stafford Area Soccer Association (SASA) St. Patrick's Day Tournament. Our girls finished as finalists in the U14 Gold Division. They beat the Vincent United Aztecs (2-1), the MSC Rush (3-1), and the SASA Revolution 95 Blue (1-0), to win their flight. In the final game against the Arlington Flame, the final score was 0-0, and the game went into two 5-minute overtimes, that ended without a score. The game was decided by an exciting round of penalty kicks, although the Flame came out on top. Great job girls!
The OBGC Cyclones Blue played in the Baltimore March Mania Tournament, in the U14 Championship Division. The girls tied the MSC Xcel and lost to the TSF Academy Triumph (NJ) and the Soccer Elite White Plains Elite 96 (NY). The girls are ready now for the MD State Cup and the upcoming Spring WAGS season. Great job girls!
Friday, February 19
Both Cyclones teams played in the Maryland SoccerPlex's Presidents Day Indoor Soccer Tournament on February 15th. Both teams played very well!!! The Cyclones Blue faced some tough competition, playing in a combined U14/15 division. The Cyclones White played in a tough U14 division, but were able to beat the Damascus Sparks, 4-1; and the FC Frederick, 3-2; and tie the DC Stoddert Mischief Blue, 1-1. As a result, our girls won the U14 division and won vouchers to a Washington Freedom spring season game!! Congratulations!
Thursday, January 14
The OBGC Cyclones entered 3 teams into the Maryland Futsal State Cup, which took place on January 9, 2010. The girls faced the Fort Washington SA Mustangs, the DCFA Flamengo, the Southern Maryland FC and each other in a series of 20 minute futsal games at the Capital Clubhouse, in Waldorf, MD. One of our 3 squads made it to the finals against the DCFA Flamengo, who were silver medalists in the 2009 U.S. Futsal Federation National Championship. The game was very exciting, with a 0-0 finish, that took the girls into overtime. With no score after overtime play, both teams went to penalty kicks. Our girls lost during PKs, 1-0.
Wednesday, December 9
Both teams played in the Columbia Fall Classic at Covenant Park on 11/21 & 11/22. The OBGC Cyclones Blue played in the U14 Silver division against the Parkville Lightning, the Arundel Baxters Blue Flame and the FC Frederick Royal. They finished the tournament 1-1-1, winning their game against FC Frederick 2-1. Great job girls!
The OBGC Cyclones White played in the U14 Gold division against the CSA Sting, the PA Classics Classics (PAE), and the GSPAA Twisters, and won their bracket, finishing 3-0-0. In the playoff final game, the girls faced the winner of the other bracket, the Lower Dauphin LDC United Futures (PAE), and lost 2-1. Not too shabby!
Tuesday, October 20
The OBGC Cyclones Blue played in the SAC Columbus Day Tournament on 10/17 and 10/18. Playing in the Challenge flight, our girls won their bracket, besting the Calverton Strykers (1-0); the Hereford United (2-0); and the Crofton Athletic Council Freedom (1-0). In the final game against the winner of the other bracket in the same flight, our girls pulled a 1-0 win over the Loudoun 95 Black!!!! Congratulations girls!
OBGC Cyclones White are WAGS Tournament SemiFinalists!!
The same Columbus Day weekend, the OBGC Cyclones White played in the WAGS Rael Vodicka Memorial Tournament. Playing in the B Flight, our girls beat the BRYC 95 Elite Blue (1-0) and the Lexington County SC United 95G White (4-2), although they lost to the Hibernian AA Fusion (1-2). Even with the one loss, the girls were able to win their bracket and move on to the quarterfinals. In the quarterfinals, our girls faced the VSA Heat Gold, and won 1-0. In the semifinals, our girls faced the Richmond Strikers SC Elite, and lost 0-2. It was a long weekend of soccer, and finishing as semifinalists is not too shabby.

Monday, September 7
Both Cyclones teams played in the OBGC Capital Cup over Labor Day weekend. The OBGC Cyclones Blue played in the Classic Bracket, and made it to the final game on Labor Day Monday!!! The Blue team had a great tournament beating the MSI Blue Star (3-0); the Calverton Strykers (3-1); and the Loudon 95 Black (2-1). They lost only one game in regular play to the LUYAA SC Fusion (2-0). The girls faced LUYAA again in the final game, and finished as a finalist, with a final score of 1-0.
The OBGC Cyclones White played in the Premier Bracket and faced the SAC United Premier, the Northern Elite SC Piranhas, and the BRYC Team Harkes Elite. Facing stiff competition, the girls lost all 3 games, 1-0, 3-0, and 1-0. It was a great tournament, and the girls are ready to start their season!!

Monday, June 8
The OBGC Cyclones White finished first in WAGS Division 3. They were the only undefeated team in the division, finishing the season with 5 wins and 4 ties. They faced some tough competition, including the BRYC '95 Elite Blue (formerly Axiom), the CHAN Revolution '95 and the ARL Flame. However, the girls persevered and will likely be moving to WAGS Division 2 in the fall. Great job girls!
Tuesday, May 26
Both OBGC Cyclones Teams played in the Columbia Invitational Memorial Day Tournament, played at Covenant Park and OBGC's Freeman Fields. The OBGC Cyclones Blue won the U-13 Girls Champion Division in a VERY exciting final game! The girls played great all weekend, winning their bracket by beating the Empire United-Syracuse (2-1); the TSC Thunder Storm (1-0); and tieing the Smithtown Kickers Smithtown Xplosion (NYE) (1-1). In the championship game, they beat the SAC United 1(2-1), in a very exciting game!! Thanks to Leah and Sidney, our guest players! Congratulations girls! You deserve it!
The OBGC White played in the U-13 Premier Division and finished third in their bracket. They faced stiff competition, playing the Baltimore Bays '96, the BRYC Team Harkes Elite (VA) and the Victory Express SC Victory 95/96 (PAW). The girls only win came on Sunday, when they beat the Victory Express, 2-0. It was great soccer for both teams. We are so proud of them!

Sunday, May 3
The Cyclones went to WAGS Night at the Maryland SoccerPlex when the Washington Freedom took on the St Louis Athletica. The League honored soccer legends Mia Hamm and Siri Mullinex at half-time. The Cyclones won the Grand Prize for purchasing so many tickets to the game, and won a photo opportunity for the team (coaches and players) with Mia Hamm. Check it out!

The OBGC Cyclones White played in the Elite Division at the Baltimore March Madness on March 21 & 22. All games were played at Covenant Park, in Ellicott City, MD.
The girls bested all 3 teams in bracket 1 (Empire United-Syracuse, Parkville SC Lightning, and Cherry Hill FC Wildcats) winning 2-0, 3-1, and 3-0.
In an exciting final game, the girls beat the bracket 2 winner, the Parkville SC Eagles, 1-0. Congratulations girls!

The Olney Cyclones White reached the Final Four in the Maryland State Cup Championship. This is a statewide tournament organized by the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association. 32 teams from accross the state entered, and after 3 rounds the Cyclones made it to the Final Four.
The girls won their first round game against the MSC Xcel last Saturday (October 18), 1-0. They won their second game last Sunday (October 19) against the Bethesda Legacy 2-0. They won their quarterfinals round on Sunday, October 26 against the BPSC Force, 2-0. All these games were played on Kent Island, in Stevensville, MD.
The Cyclones played their semi-final game on Nov. 1st at the Maryland Soccerplex in Germantown. They lost to the GSPAA Kickers 2-1 in overtime. The Cyclones scored their goal early in the first half, and maintained the lead for nearly the entire game. In the last 2 minutes of the game, a foul was called on the girls, and the Kickers received a penalty kick, which led to the game ending in a tie. The Kickers won the game in overtime. The Cyclones played their hearts out. We are so proud of them!!!
