The Olean Arrows organization is a member of USA Hockey, the Western New York Amateur Hockey League (WNYAHL), and the Great Lakes Girls Hockey League (GLGHL) offering youth in the Olean, NY and surrounding area with access to travel and in-house ice hockey programs. Greetings Hockey Families!

The time is fast approaching for our largest fundraiser of the season. The Hockey Bash! This year the bash is scheduled for Friday, February 19^th at 6pm. The new venue for the event is the Pulaski Club, 1104 N. Union Street, Olean NY. (If anyone is in need of directions, please email me.) The board decided to try a new central location that offers more room for our growing fundraiser. Chris Sklener, Board President wants everyone to know that the raffles will be starting promptly at 6 pm this year. In the past we have found that the night became lengthy due to the delay with the raffles. Plan on arriving early to get in on the great prizes, raffles, and food we have in store for the evening. To date over 150 letters have been mailed to local businesses requesting donations. In addition to the local support, OAYHA is in need of your help to make the benefit a success.

WAYS TO VOLUNTEER FOR THE 2010 HOCKEY BASH:

• Volunteer 1 hour of time the night of the event (selling raffles, working the door, selling Chinese auction tickets, set up) If everyone helps 1 hour it would greatly even out the work for the evening
• Follow up/Pick up donated prizes in the area. Most of our prize donations will come from Olean and Bradford.
• Basket Raffles for our Chinese Auction (We are hoping that each team will come up with 1 or 2 baskets) Families are encouraged to be creative in making baskets on their own as well.
• Bake goods for our dessert table are welcome
• Sell additional tickets for the evening’s event. (Contact Karen Graham for extra tickets. Cost is $25 which admits 2 people and enters for cash drawing)

Anyone wishing to assist with any of the above, please email Karen Graham at thegrahams@roadrunner.com as soon as possible so we will be able to plan time slots for the event.

Players registering for the first time, please include a copy of your birth certificate for the league to have on file.  

Please find the registration form in the "Handouts" or below. Also you are required to register with USA Hockey.

 Below, is the T-shirt order form. You can order t-shirts from YS-5X.  They will be a basic shirt with the colored logo on them.  They will be available in Grey or Black with a base price of $10.50.
 

  The warm up pants that are being ordered  in the open leg style will have a white bead on the side of the leg.  The company has started manufacturing the 2010 style.  They will be the same  material.  Also, there are no longer warm up jackets in Youth Large.  Sports Locker has the ones that we turned in , but cannot get anymore.

Orders must be paid in full when placed. No orders are to be placed at Sports Locker.  This causes to much confusion.

Clear mouth guards must be tied to the cage of your helment!!
