A little about us:

Olathe Volleyball Club was organized to allow girls in the Olathe area access to other opportunities to play volleyball.

Many clubs and teams in the Kansas City area stress intense competition and are often very expensive. This Club was created by parents of volleyball players in Olathe schools to provide a less expensive and more developmental program, to allow more interested girls to participate in volleyball, and to allow them to have a pleasant and rewarding experience.

Olathe Volleyball Club is organized to promote, advance and sponsor youth volleyball programs and related activities, in the Olathe, Kansas area. To further its objectives, the club will provide opportunities for interested youth to develop and enhance their skills in and appreciation of volleyball by providing practices, seminars and clinics, and by encouraging participation in tournaments.

The Club will promote sportsmanship in all programs and activities through individual and group instruction and counseling. To promote sportsmanlike competition, the Club will encourage its teams to participate in area tournaments, including Heart of America (HOA)- United States Volleyball Association (USVA) tournaments. Club members will also be HOA-USAV members, and will be urged to participate in USAV sanctioned events, including clinics in refereeing, coaching and scorekeeping. Tournament experience will enhance and promote sportsmanlike competition-clinics will allow for the learning of other aspects of the game.
