Monday, May 14 We're all out of Lollipops!!! Hall of Fame Qualifier weekend outline: I. OK Babes vs Intimidators score 7-4. ~Kala White's outstanding catch in right field can't go unnoticed! And Madi Reed & Kayci way to step up when Balie got hurt! II. OK Babes vs Lady Outlaws score 1-0. ~Bailey Erwin broke the no-hitter and Desiree's speed got us on the board! Way to take one for the team Al! III. OK Babes vs OK Storm score 3-1. ~Balie Neel awesome double play to get us out of that inning and end that game! Megan did a great job not lettin those little speedsters get around those bases! IV. OK Babes vs Tulsa Shoot out score 2-0. ~Al had some amazing stretches on first base for outs! And little Holli's perfect bunt was just what we needed! V. OK Babes vs Tulsa Shoot out score 4-3. ~Way to start of the 2 out rally in the bottom of the 7th with a hit up the middle Shelby! And talk about pressure on Arico.....bottom of the 7th, bases loaded, tied game, 2-2 count, here comes the pitch........Bam! to right field to win the game! Alex we couldn't have done it w/o your support! Awesome job Babes on going undefeated against such great competition! Monday, November 6 14u AFA Nationals here we come! The OK Babes traveled to Basehor,KS with the intention of not only bringing home the 1st place trophy,but also qualifying for 2007 AFA Nationals. After finishing 2nd in our pool bracket, the Babes were challenged Sunday in a single elimination tournament. We arrived in the championship game opposing the Diamond Dazzlers. This intense game went into an international tie-breaker, ultimately resulting in the victory of the Oklahoma Babes! Our intention became a reality in such a heart-felt moment of the team bonding together! The Oklahoma Babes have overcome many adversities and are prepared to face any obstacles head on. Moreover, whether you support us or despise us, we thank you because we would not be as strong as we have become without YOU!!! Wednesday, October 18 OKLAHOMA BABES ARE BRINGING IT!!! THE OKLAHOMA BABE'S FALL TOURNAMENT SEASON IS ABOUT TO BEGIN! CHECK OUT THE SCHEDULE AND COME SUPPORT A GREAT GROUP OF YOUNG LADIES! WE HAVE SOME GREAT IMPROVEMENTS TO OUR ROSTER THIS SEASON! Friday, May 11 OK Babes takin home the Hardware!!! Due to weather conditions we have only been able to play in two tournaments. We placed 3rd in the Claremore tournament April 29th and 2nd in the Ardmore tournament May 6th! Our goal is to continue to learn and improve with each game we play leading us to Nationals! A special "thumbs up" to Bailey for carrying your team as the only pitcher in the Ardmore tournament!!! Alex Files (pitcher) is currently "out of order" due to injury.
