Kids, we are so proud of everything you have accomplished this season and the joy that you have brought your coaches, parents, relatives and friends. For the 7th graders...keep it going into 8th grade. For the 8th graders...carry it over into high school so we can cheer for you at Oak Hills or wherever you may run.

PARENTS: I want to thank you for the gift card. Please understand that I got into creating this site and sharing photos out of my enjoyment for the sport...your gift is greatly appreciated, but not necessary! It is a pleasure to share the joy of my own kids' involvement in a great sport with so many others.
COACHES: THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Carl, you have pushed our kids to the limit and they (and we) have appreciated every moment. It is odd, but we hate the end of this season as much as you do...and our kids actually miss your speeches! I learned this when our oldest daughter came back to your practices during her high school season...just because she needed a little motivation. Thanks for the incredible dedication you show to our children and to the Oak Hills school district.
Danielle, Coach A could not have picked a better "assistant" coach to encourage these kids to achieve more than they thought they could...then you ask them to do a little bit more...and they do. These are life lessons, not just running lessons.

Cross Country is the sport of long distance running. Runners prepare for and compete in 2 MILE RACES with teams from other middle schools. During these races, we...win with class (and lose with class)...each of us represents the Oak Hills School District and we make our district look 1st class when we cheer the kids on from other schools and encourage all runners to do well. The beauty of the sport of Cross Country is that we work hard to win as individuals and as a team, but we always support one another. Let's keep up the high standards of class that our district believes in!
"In Oak Hills there is the belief that if you train hard you will succeed. This we have proven."
Please note: photos are stored on Kodak's site (www.kodakgallery.com) so you can view them and download them for FREE or, if you wish, you can order prints from Kodak...they are not being sold for personal or school benefit...they are shared for your enjoyment!
If you have changes, corrections or photos to add, please feel free to email me by clicking on the name on the left menu or post a message in the site's Guestbook or Message Board.
