Team Guidelines Discussed
At a team meeting held in January 2001 players and coaches agreed on certain team rules which should help prevent problems from developing on the team. They include:

1) Players missing a practice without a valid excuse will not start the next game they attend.

2) Players missing an actual game without a valid excuse will not play in the next game that they attend.

3) Players who seriously mis-treat another player or a coach will sit out the next game and then meet with the head coach to discuss the appropriate disciplinary action.

Inappropriate actions would include cursing at players, coaches, or parents or throwing helmets, bats, etc, at teamates or coaches.

4) If the parent of a player seriously offends a player or another player's parents,
both the parent and their daughter are subject to disciplinary action or removal from the team.

While we do not anticipate that the enforcement of these guidelines will be needed- they have been agreed upon by the majority of the team to clarify the handling of any potential problem.
