PLAY BALL !!!  Some teams in the Ohio Prospects Leagues 13 & 14U Division will begin their League and Tournament play in Mid-April and May. To view their schedules go to the Main Menu to Schedules.

Ohio Prospects League 14U All-Tournament Teams--Represent the Ohio Prospects League as one of the top players in Northeast Ohio in the PONY Tournament.  Please go to the Main Menu to OPL 14U All Tournament Team for more information.

ATTENTION !!!  OPLEAGUE TEAM MANAGERS / COACHES

 According to the law, amateur youth sport organizations are required to make their coaches more aware of concussions including concussion training. Here is a link to the NFHS website for a free seminar on Concussion Awareness that will satisfy the new Ohio law. http://www.nfhslearn.com/electiveDetail.aspx?courseID=38000 It is a free seminar that lasts about 20 minutes. You will first need to get a username and password for the site (also free) and then sign up for the seminar. You will be able to watch and listen to the seminar right on the computer.

Parents/Players:  Please be aware of rule #9:
Each individual player (and parent - guardian ) will be required to completely fill out
and sign OPL player contract Player contracts go into effect when signed, completed
and received by a League Official. Once a player signs an OPL contract for a team for a given season, he is committed to that team for that season.  Players may not play on another team in the Ohio Prospects League unless released by June 30th. Please remember we follow OHSAA rules.  Therefore bats must have the BBCOR certification on them or they are considered illegal.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY AND UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE !!!

The BBCOR decertification process has been implemented on the following bats: REEBOK VECTOR TLS-33" - MARUCCI CAT-5 33" LENGTH

These bats may have the BBCOR stamp on them, But they have been ruled illegal by the OHSAA!!!!

Please Note: 13U Division Teams

For the 13U Division ** bats must have a bpf of 1.15 or less and the diameter must not be larger than 2 5/8 inches, Field playing distance is 54’ 80’

They are ILLEGAL!
