Welcome to Oxon Hill Boys and Girls Club Tackle Football! Jovan Williams grew up in Oxon Hill and participated in several sports for the club, including soccer, baseball, basketball, and football. However, his passion is, and will always be, football. He served in the military and lived in various states across the country, as well as different countries around the globe. He has returned to the club that nourished him with the goal of nourishing other young people. His primary objectives are to teach the fundamentals of the game, promote good sportsmanship, and instill the concept of teamwork. His vision is to enhance and maintain the pride of the Oxon Hill Boys and Girls Club. His message for the student-athletes he will be working with is to remember that "what you learn on the football field can also be applied to life".
Competition is provided in the following coed age groups:
All teams compete in leagues established by the Prince George's County Boys and Girls Club (PGCBGC) who have set the age cutoff date for football as September 1st. For example:- A player who turns 12 prior to this date will have to play for a 12U, or above, team. A player who turns 12 on, or after, this date is eligible to play for an 11U team.
