2002 Season Changes
-The State Tourn. will last 3 days.
-The top 4 qualifiers in each Region will go to the State Tournament. There is no   longer a District Tournament.
-Waggener is moving to another District
-KCD's Coach is now the Head Coach for St. X
-Manual & John Hardin have added wrestling programs.
-S. Oldham has been predicted to be the State Champs this year.
-Middle School Wrestlers can now wrestle Varsity.
-Wrestlers can no longer try to "make weight" after a weigh-in.
-A draw for starting weight class will be held after weigh-ins.
-Weight loss will be determined by body fat content.

What these changes mean is that we can potentially take our entire team to State.

NOTE - With the 3 day tournament additional money will need to be raised to cover the cost of rooms and meals for the State qualifiers. Assuming our entire team goes to State, the food bill alone could be rather large. Be sure to take part in any fundraisers and support the Kroger program, (You are buying food anyway, so exchange some cash for certificates and use the certificates for purchases. The wrestling program gets 4% of all purchases. It adds up quickly!)
