Coaching Staff:
Head High School Coach: Tom Messmer
Tom is originally for New York, where he had the unique opportunity of playing box lacrosse. Tom's coaching career includes experiences in ice skating, boys lacrosse and girl's lacrosse. He was most recently the head coach of the girl's Pioneer Middle School lacrosse team. Tom is also well known as a highly regarded Umpire for both boys and girls lacrosse at the high school and middle school levels. Tom is certified by US Lacrosse as both a women's coach and Umpire. Tom's coaching philosophy emphasizes fundamental skills, continuous improvement, leadership on the field, respect for one another, and a love of the game. Tom's daughter and son are both active lacrosse players at the middle and high school levels, respectively.
Asst. High School Coach: Brandi Wiley
Brandi is also a US Lacrosse certified coach and Umpire and has experience in both roles. She also has a son who plays high school lacrosse and a daughter playing at the middle school level. She most recently has been involved with the girl's middle school Pioneer lacrosse team.

Head Middle School Coach: Jackie Gleason
Jackie also grew up on the east coast, playing high school and college field hockey and lacrosse, with her college lacrosse team in Division I. She is a AYSO certified Intermediate soccer Referee and is also the Girl's middle school Lacrosse coach at St. Mary's and All Angels School. Jackie believes in developing players by helping them to master the fundamental skills of the game, by encouraging their individual talents, and by teaching them to recognize the strength that comes from strong team play. She has four daughters, with her oldest two playing lacrosse at the middle school level.
Asst. Middle School Coach: Ben Lin
Ben has been active in lacrosse as both a player and a coach for quite some time. After playing Men's Lacrosse for UC Irvine for 4 years, he moved onto coaching boy's lacrosse first at the middle school level then up to the high school level. He moved into coaching girl's lacrosse after 5 years of coaching boys, spending one year at the middle school level, and for the past 2 years has been the Asst Coach at Corona del Mar High School for the girl's lacrosse team. Ben's coaching philosphy emphasizes the value of team play, encourages a love for the game, and recognizes the importance of mastering fundamental skills
