Just would like to thank everyone associated with Oconee County Little League (from the late Stan Stanchek, Mel Michael, Robin Scott, Mickey Smith, Wes Peyton, Julia Crew, Shane Daniel, Eric Pope,and others who helped beyond measure)for their support in making the Athens Pirates what we've become: a nationally known college summer baseball club. Without your help we never would have achieved this level of recognition putting 4 players in the Major Leagues in the past 5 years. Thanks, again,
