Professional Rules Changes Since the 1850's.
A little known fact... The first testicular guard (cup) was used in baseball in 1874 and the first helmet was used in 1934. To some this proves it took 60 years for men to realize that the brain is also important. MEETINGS FOR 2010All meetings will be held at 7 p.m. at the new Chester High School unless otherwise noted. If schools are closed there is no meeting.
New umpires clinic: October 21, 28, and November 4. and Nov. 5 (for only those that pass the test) this is mandatory.
Location: Chester new High School
Time: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Cost: $80.00 for taking the test
Potential new umpires can call Marty Nowak 692-4334 or Oscar Diaz 566-1723 or E mail BOARD@OCBUA.COM for further information prior to the first class.

Election of officers for 2010 and social gathering ) Please note the following: According to the NYSPHSAA attendance at five meetings is mandatory. Dual members must attend two OCBUA meetings. No excuses will be accepted for not fulfilling the requirements of the five-point plan.
